Hale Barns Carnival 2024 Cancelled

Hale Barns Carnival 2024 has been cancelled. It was meant to be taking place on the weekend of Saturday 20th July and Sunday 21st July. It is a shame because many were looking forward to it, and the event is organised by a not-for-profit organisation raising money for a community hall in Hale Barns.

Last year in 2023 it rained for the whole weekend, which resulted in very low ticket sales for the evening events. Unfortunately bad weather is forecast for the dates it is due to be held this year - so the organiser has decided not to go ahead. This is understandable, as not enough visitors doesn't make it viable for any of the food kiosks, stallholders, or provide money to pay the performers their fees.
